This is a beautiful, rare, vintage Fenton vaseline/topaz opalescent coin dot bowl!
This is a cased glass bowl with an opalescent vaseline yellow that has a green fluorescence to it. It boasts the beautiful coin dot pattern that transitions into the unusual double-crimped ruffles along its edges. It was handblown in the 1950's (around 1959-1962) and is considered "THE color for '59". (You can find this bowl in the "Fenton 1959 Randall Catalog, Sec. 2-Page 2". 1427 TO# 7" Bowl.) It glows when a UV blacklight is shone on it. The measurements are 3.5"H x 6.75"W x 6.75"D.
Great condition. There is some normal wear from age and use. No chips, cracks or damage.
