FINE POINT - Chester’s Clay utilizes a proprietary blend of raw material with a certain amount of silicate, metal oxide and flux. This enables the pencil to be sharpened to a very fine point. The pencil is easily controllable, draw clear and solid lines. Easy to use, and will be of great help while adding serious detail to your pottery, ceramic, bisque, greenware and raku pieces. Shading, labeling, test tiles, signing, transferring sketches the options are endless!
SHARPEN WITHOUT BREAKING - A great alternative to liquid underglaze and carving. The sharpened point of the underglaze pencil is the same as an ordinary or colored pencil, sharpen it using the premium pencil sharpener (included) or fettling knife. It will not break off, or fracture during sharpening.
LASTING & DURABLE - The images drawn with Chester’s Clay underglaze pencils will not fade, as long as they do not touch water before firing. Keep your underglaze pencil dry with the included water-proof carrying case. Stash it in your studio or tool kit for easy use.
