Artist Gerry Brynjulson (1921-2015). Original image size is 21 x 28. Excellent condition.
Originally from Bismark, North Dakota he came to Colorado after the war in 1946 to study at the University of Denver. He taught art at his alma mater as well as in Denver public schools. In the late 1950's he relocated to the island of Tobago in the West Indies where for over twenty years he painted scenes of the local environment. During the 1970's Brynjulson and his wife rented a farmhouse south of Florence, Italy. There he painted the life in villages around the area. In 1986 they settled in Marco Island, Florida where he became part of the local art community.
