St Euphemia was the youngest of these Christians who were arrested. She endured horrific and agonizing tortures for refusal to worship the pagan idol, instead confessing her faith in Christ.
These crosses are made in Greece in small series. A classic byzantine cross with a very symmetrical shape that is very popular. These pieces are distinguished by meticulous chiseling, filigree, or graining. A red garnet is placed at the center as a symbol of love and compassion. A unique and timeless piece.
