This is a beautiful specimen of old stock Ocean Jasper from the Marovato area of Madagascar (the original veins discovered and mined in the late 1990s until the mid 2000s). This piece has so many desirable features that are sought after in a high quality example. The colors range from peach/pink to yellow/orange, and it also has green druzy pockets and botryiodal orbs exposed on the surface. This one is going to produce some killer slabs! Or it could be face polished and be a beautiful display specimen. At just over 3.5 lbs (1590+ grams), it's big enough to do either one, or both! See photos for dimensions and weight. I personally would try to get a long slab or two lengthwise, capturing all of the varied features, and then face polish the remaining chunk to show off all of these qualities in a collection. It's for sale for now unless I get around to doing just that!
