Mary Francis beautiful Vintage beaded wooden box purse with Japanese design of woman holding an umbrella with landscape behind her and beaded fan and butterfly in corners. No beads missing 6 1/2” high, 2” deep, 6” wide and 23 inch chain of metal coiled around dark cord. Chain can be retracted into purse if wanted for display.
Only flaw I can see is inside of lid on lower edge the paint is scraped a bit, where it touches the main part of purse. Back edge only and doesn’t show when lid is closed. No marks on bottom or top. Stunning meticulous beading and paint details.
