This beautiful covered cheese dish is from the 1910's!
The marking on bottom states "Manson's Patent Iron Stone China Vista England"
Features traditional English castle landscaped backgrounds with Englishmen conversing in the foreground. Each seen is surrounded by detailed florals and vines.
This piece is a true work of art with the handle on lid textured to mimic wood and has raised leaves. There is normal crackling on the glaze due to age and there are 3 minor chips. One tiny chip in on the lid towards the back corner of the left side. And 2 tiny chips on the cheese plate both located on the underside (very bottom where marking is found) .
