2 really unique vintage square plates featuring a pelican in each corner. These were made for the historic Landmark #92 , Pelican Paper Company in San Francisco by The Ye Old Pot Shoppe. No date but they both have details on bottom. The building of PPC was built in 1855 so no telling what year these were made, but they do have the pelican logo on front of both. Kind of a cool piece of history.
Pictures 5 & 6 are the truest to their actual coloring. Each measure 10.75” x 10.75”. They have a slight curvature on edge.
In good overall condition with 1 having some damage to the underside which is not visible when placed right side up. Really heavy weight solid plates. No cracks, some chipping, as noted above and shown in photos. Sold as a pair
