This is a beautiful ivory color celluloid jewlery box that has an art deco design (the color is lighter than the pictures). I imagine that a beautiful piece of jewelry came in this box. It's lined in an off-white silky fabric. The hinges work perfectly. It's approximately 8 1/2 inches long and approximately 4 inches wide. The box is in excellent condition. The only thing I see is that the silky material of the bottom and top have some gold color smudges (refer to the last 3 pictures), not enough to detract from its beauty.
