The etching on the top of the ornament cap I believe reads Germany and this is an exquisite hand blown glass ornament and quite long at 8 in oddly enough it's more of a peachy color with a little bit of green and yellow on it and on one side it's got this faux ice Frost crystals on it ... almost looks like the sugar you put on a sugar cookie.. Fantastic ornament .... and I've never seen a banana before and I've never seen one 8 in. Someone's going to have a lot of fun with this ornament! Super safe shipper with 28 years experience.
