I have a 13” set of calipers made by Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co., Providence, R.I., USA. The front is used to measure outside diameters and the back for inside diameters. I know they were made in either the 1930’s or 1940’s by the square box IBS logo.
“ARMA888F” stamped on all parts of the piece. Most likely used in an Armory during armament manufacturing. Possibly the Watervliet Arsenal.
