There is a straw mark on both sides of the plate, it is a manufacturing flaw that occurred before glazing and firing, as can be seen in the glaze being in the line. I feel these kinds of imperfections are part and parcel of the beauty of artisan handmade items, adding interest and reminding the viewer of the
work put into each individual piece.
