This vintage 1940's L.M. Cox Thimble Drome Special Metal Tether Race Car is an iconic piece of history. The car was made in the United States and is a perfect example of vintage manufacture. It is sure to be a hit among diecast and toy vehicle collectors. Note that this is a push type racer and is not motorized. As shown, the vehicle shows a fair amount of wear and play based on the chipped paint and some oxidation underneath. Tires are in good shape. Overall, solid condition with some cosmetic wear. Please see all photos to verify the condition. Car is approximately 8 1/2" long.
